So it's New Year's Eve.
And I think the entire internet knows I spent
Last New Year's Eve in jail, listening to the catch-up song from a speaker far in the distance at the end of the hallway in a room that looked very much like this.
They busted my door on the 29th of December.
Went through all of my things. I was arrested for thought crimes.
and they dragged me to a Romanian prison cell where I
remained for 93 days. At the time I had no idea how long I was going to be in there, but
It was certainly a harrowing experience. And when I was in that cell...
on New Year's Eve.
Amen.
I remember thinking,
ironically, about the
conversations I had had with Tristan only a few days prior.
Tristan and I were arguing about where we should spend New Year's Eve.
"Shall we go to Courcheval in France?" "Shall we do it in Dubai?" "What about London?" "What about Prague?"
"That'll be boring, this'll be boring." And we were talking about all these grandiose ideas, which for some reason wouldn't satisfy us.
And we ended up staring at the wall.
in general.
And I sat
I had no clock, no timer.
I only knew it was a new year because I heard the celebrations and fireworks in the distance from the outside free world.
And it kind of made me think, isn't it interesting that everywhere on the planet there are jailmen?
Right now, wherever you are sitting, you can be in India, you can be in Kazakhstan, you can be in America, you can be in Brazil.
probably less.
that half an hour's drive away, there are men stuck in rooms
jailmen.
and you live your whole life
going places, talking to people,
experiencing different things, and the jail men just sit.
and I was a jail man.
And now here we are on New Year's Eve and I felt like I should reflect and go back because
I believe when something painful happens in your life, you should revisit it.
I believe in picking at cuts.
So I am.
If something ever damages me, I want to do it again. Something ever hurts me, I want to revisit it. Over and over and over until the sting eventually subsides.
So,
I decided to go back to one of the most depressing
If that's a thing.
periods of my life, which was New Year's Eve inside that jail cell.
And then after laughing ironically about the conversations
that Tristan and I
had prior to our arrest.
I also remember thinking on the next New Year's,
I'm gonna do something crazy. If I'm not still in jail,
God, if you let me out of here,
I swear on the next New Year's.
I'm going to celebrate because I was never a big fan of New Year's. I never really liked it.
Hence my discussion to Tristan. We were arguing about where to celebrate it. We felt obligated, but we didn't really enjoy New Year's Eve. There's so much pressure to try and have fun.
And you can only do things like go out, which we can do any day of the week because we're rich. We don't have
We don't need time off work. We don't need to save up money. We can go out any time we want.
It's crowded.
It's just annoying.
And I said, "I promise I'm gonna appreciate New Year's Eve.
I'm going to do fun things on New Year's Eve. I'm going to get in the spirit. I'm going to enjoy it.
Thank you.
And then here we are one New Year's Eve later, and I actually realized that I don't want to do any of those things. I want to sit with my children and watch TV.
So perhaps you learned some perspective, because even inside a jail only one short year ago,
I thought when I was free, I would party hard on New Year's Eve. Not drink, because I don't drink.
but
Party.
celebrate the idea of freedom.
Be free.
And instead, I'm sitting in the jail cell that we made to do a live stream, staying in my house, which is heavily guarded behind walls and guards and sitting with my kids.
So that's certainly an interesting observation I've made about myself.
You learn what's important, you learn what matters and you learn what doesn't.
So then you also have to think about this year. It's been a very interesting year for me.
We were arrested. We spent 93 days in jail. We were released on house arrest. We had to spend another five months, a further five months
locked within our house
unable to leave.
Then we were released to travel around Bucharest for three months, and then we were released to travel around all of Romania.
So at some point during this year,
at every point during this year, we have been constrained at some level.
We've been in some version of prison.
And it's kinda interesting, my brother made a very astute
intelligent
quite profound observation
When we were released,
from house arrest.
He said, "Andrew, you do know that our punishment is better than most people's lives.
That's what you mean.
When we were on house arrest,
We had 50 guys from the war room.
cycle through and visit us. We had a war room event where 200 guys turned up.
We sparred every day.
We ate premium steaks cooked by chefs on a barbecue every single day.
We had shisha brought to our house. Barbers came to our house.
We have thousands of women all over the world begging to meet us.
We had old girlfriends who were in love with us, completely subservient and adoring.
We had brand new women who were obsessed with us who would come anytime we wanted.
We're sitting in this
mansion and our punishment is every man's dream. They never get access to those kind of women.
They never have the kind of respect we have amongst our peers. They don't have the network we have.
They don't enjoy any of the things we enjoy in freedom.
In their freedom, they still perpetually and monumentally fail where...
You and I, locked up in punishment, are living a better life than them.
Our punishment is something they could never aspire to ever achieve.
And I thought that was extremely profound and interesting, and he's completely correct.
So then you have to ask yourself, who's really enslaved? Who's really in prison? I couldn't leave certain geographical areas because a judge said so.
You can't leave certain geographical areas because you can't afford it.
Once I'm free, I'll be able to afford to go wherever I want.
Are you any more free than I am?
Have you ever been any more free than I was on house arrest or even in jail?
in jail.
I was more respected.
I had more attention.
more female adoration.
more offers for sponsorship and money.
more income
I did so much more in jail than you do when you are completely free. Do you understand? In jail, I'm being offered $10 million book deals. No one's ever offered you $10 million.
ever.
You are in jail.
So,
Besides murder me.
which will come,
And I would never kill myself.
The worst thing a government can do to me, they've done to me.
Jail without trial.
And it still, in many ways, outperformed your life. It was still better than your life in many very measurable metrics.
That's a lot to say. Here we are now with almost
all of our freedom back. We can travel around Romania, we can't yet leave the country.
And again,
If you were to say to me when I was 18, Andrew, we're going to stick you in a country and you can't leave it.
I'm like, "Okay."
but you're gonna be a billionaire.
All right. You're gonna be perfectly healthy and you have a bunch of wives and a bunch of children and they're all healthy and everyone's happy.
And you have 53 supercars. You live in a mansion. And everyone on the planet is going to know your name and respect you and love you.
And you're going to be a four-time kickboxing world champion who's retired, who lives with his best friends and his brother, and wakes up and laughs all day every day.
But
You have to stay in the country.
you
I guess I'd be intelligent enough to say, well, which country is that? Afghanistan, is it?
or
Somalia
They'll say, "No, it's Romania."
You got mountains, you got beach.
got beautiful roads to drive on.
Gorgeous women, nice weather, safe.
I think at the age of 18, I would have taken that.
as a blessing.
I think I would have signed up for that, thankfully.
I would have said I can get out of Luton, out of the Matrix, out of the rat race, I can be a billionaire. And I just have to stay inside Romania, right? That's the only punishment. That's the only catch. I just stay inside Romania and I have everything else.
I take that.
Most of you
We'll never get anywhere near
the levels that my brother and I lived at.
while we were being punished.
And that has a lot to say about you.
in your lives.
The things we have achieved this year, the damage we have done to the Matrix,
The figures we have drawn towards important issues, the truths we have told,
the children we have fathered.
the love we have had, the millions and millions of dollars we have generated, the investments we have made,
The people we have fed via our charity, tapepledge.com.
All of those things were done under some form of imprisonment. We have outperformed you again.
And then you get to a point where I'm at now and it comes around to New Year's Eve and you realize how brilliant you are and how you perpetually and never-endingly succeed
and outperform everybody all the time.
and everyone else is going out to have fun.
And you just kind of want to go back to jail a little bit, you know?
Just sit and think.
These people want to go out to have fun. They want to go to the club and the spa and get the table.
to matter.
I can talk to camera.
Get 100 million views. I matter already. I don't have to do that stuff. It's below me.
I want to save the world.
But...
.
I really hope that
And truthfully, the reason I do these things is I believe that the Matrix can be destroyed
via masculine imperatives. I believe that God has instilled within every man the things he needs naturally to prevent himself from becoming a slave.
which is bravery, which is conquest.
which is pride.
And I say these things
Because I...
Understand that the matrix uses
Deception.
as a prerequisite to your enslavement.
and they have convinced many of you at home
that you are not failing.
You have a normal life, a normal car, a normal wife, a normal house.
Everything's fine, right? No, you have failed.
Bye.
You are not successful. You are not important. You are an idiot. You are a loser. You take the vaccine when they tell you to take the vaccine.
You have to or you lose your job. You have failed. All of you have.
And the only reason I sit here on New Year's Eve and try and explain to you that even when I'm suffering the worst punishment a government can bestow upon me, I still have a better life than you, is to try and make you mad enough in your heart for you to say, shit, he's right. Because then you might do something about it. And if you do enough...
We have enough of you.
Do something about it.
then we can win.
So I genuinely wish the absolute best for all of you for New Year's.
I hope none of you go to jail.
"Hope none of you suffer the things I have suffered."
However, I have taken them all and used them as fuel to become more powerful than ever
I'm a better version of myself.
It's going to be harder and harder for you to beat me, not that you stood a chance in the first place.
And I hope you build a life which is so brilliant.
and you become so monumentally competent and capable that you get to a point
where even if they try to punish and damage you,
you are still existing within a better human experience than the majority of peons and serfs
who have subscribed to the Matrix programming outside
in their limited
and completely false
Freedom.
*music*
Yeah.
