Is there really much of a difference of the feeling of excitement

fear.

I mean, you can say you're scared if you're afraid of the consequence

or if you're afraid to take action. But let's say you're the kind of person who accepts consequences as they come.

and you're never the kind of person who can be paralyzed, because fear paralyzes a coward.

But I don't believe in being paralyzed by fear.

Fear is a time to act, not to be paralyzed. Is there even much difference between excitement and fear?

Can't you rewire your brain?

When they come along and say, you're going to have a huge, big legal case, and if you lose, you're going to jail for 10 years. Can't you sit there and go, cool.

That's going to be exciting.

It will be exciting. I mean, it's not boring, is it?

Right?

Body shots and getting punched up is exciting.

That's why racing fast cars is exciting because it could go wrong.

If there's no possibility of anything ever going wrong, then nothing's ever fun.

That's the whole point in life as a man. You need the risk. You need the adventure. You need to be calculated with it. Don't be a psycho.

Don't do what Kevin does.

swim with sharks.

No way.

But excitement and fear are very closely linked.

right?

So I think that a lot of people, when they start to feel fear or they worry about the idea of fear, if you can just reframe as excitement.

You'd be amazed how far you can get in life.

It's really interesting. I watched a super cool documentary on an African tribe that saw colors. Did you ever watch? Has anyone ever seen it?

You seen it? Badass. It changed my entire perception on the world. The Himba tribe. Is it Himba? Himba is the word, yeah.

So they had

a completely different language set for colors.

So all the different types of green,

had different words as different colors.

But I think blue

This is off the top of my head.

was the same word as another type of green. So because of how they categorized the colors by language,

When you showed them two very similar greens, they could say, oh, that's that, that's that.

But when you showed them blue and green,

They thought it was the same.

Because how they categorized it by language, it changed how they viewed it.

So if you change fear to excitement in your mind,

Then it's exciting.

If you change tired to warmed up,

When I get tired when I'm hitting you, I'm like, okay, now now I hit harder.

I start to think now, OK, I'm tired now. Now I'm going to hit harder.

Then I hit harder.

- Yeah.

that I start hitting you harder.

It's amazing how you can reframe everything with just simple language tricks. It's all semantics. You can just reframe it, reframe it all and just stop believing in any of the garbage.

right? They are making heroes of us. That's what I've decided. Thank you, Matrix.
