But while has it looped?

It has?

Thank you.

- Thanks.

I don't want to talk about.

My boat's called Big Daddy.

People on the wrong boat.

We might be. Buy it? I might have to call my boat "Bigger Daddy." Biggest Daddy. Shit. And if a boat comes along that's physically bigger, it doesn't matter. Why is the biggest daddy? So what should we talk about, Luke? Shall we talk about...

the correct way to count using your fingers, or why Fahrenheit's better than Celsius.

you

Why Fahrenheit is better than Celsius? Because it is. Do you agree? Is it?

So you're an American, right? So you should be on team Fahrenheit, but you're probably on team Celsius because you're a little fucking dork.

- Celsius is garbage.

Let me tell you why Celsius is garbage.

I'm gonna sit down.

I sit in the sun. Let me sit in the sun and tell you why. Fahrenheit is the best way to measure the temperature. Why don't scientists use it? Scientists!

Scientists use Kelvin, dumbass. Thought you were smart.

Scientists don't measure anything in Celsius, they measure things in Kelvin. So you can take the whole science argument out of this. I knew you were going to re-wop with some science crap. I already had your answer, the answer is fucking Kelvin. Celsius is a fucking tag along. Celsius is a wannabe. Because what happens is the metric system makes sense. Kilograms make sense.

Kilometers make sense. So because the whole metric system makes sense, we go with the metric temperature, right? Celsius, but it's a tag along, because there's something very, very important about temperature, which isn't the same for weight or for distance.

You measure the weight of lots of different things. And you measure the distances of many different things.

What, besides the weather, do you ever measure the temperature of in your life?

Ever.

When's the last time, when it wasn't weather related, you thought, "I need to know the temperature of this"?

Yes.

Fucking never. You never do. And when scientists need to know, they use what?

Kelvin. Kelvin, correct. Now the whole fucking premise for Celsius is a scam anyway. Because they say, "Oh, but water freezes at zero and boils at 100."

No, it doesn't.

That's a fucking lie. You know why that's a lie?

No.

Because that's only true at sea level.

What's the altitude of Dubai?

I

I don't know. Exactly. So what temperature does water boil at?

I don't know. You don't know! So it's a fucking lie again. You don't know when water freezes, you don't know where water boils, Celsius hasn't fucking helped you.

The only time you ever need to know the temperature in your life

is when you want to go outside, know if you should wear a jacket

Now, if the only time you ever give a shit about the temperature is for your own personal perception of how you're going to feel when you're outside the atmosphere, why wouldn't you like a more accurate scale? Wouldn't you like be able to say, oh, it's 85 today or it's 92 today?

Isn't that cool or are you saying it's 29.3 or 29.9?

True or false? Okay, true. True!

So if you only care about the temperature for yourself,

It was Celsius.

You have between zero and 30 degrees.

which is the temperature outside.

And you have 70 degrees up until water boils that you never, ever use. When's the last time you said, oh, 54 degrees Celsius?

- Sure, never. - Never!

So it's a fucking scam. And if Kilometer's and fucking me-ers and all this other crap wasn't so useful, no one would even use it. It's just a tag along.

Fahrenheit makes more sense, makes more sense out here in the world. It gives you more accurate, a more accurate representation. It's not 8 degrees today. It's 72 degrees today. It's better.

Then I was 29, 26.

- Duh.

It's lame. The other argument is, I think you've come to the science one, the other argument is the cold thing. People go, "Okay, well, Andrew, that makes a lot of sense."

What about when it's cold?

When it's cold with Celsius, it's zero degrees when warmer freezes.

Fahrenheit's 32 degrees.

But let me ask you once again,

We're talking about scales, right?

and we're using a scale in which we perceive the atmosphere. That's the only thing we care about the temperature for, and we all accept that.

Why would you have a scale in which you need minus numbers and go off the scale? See, with Fahrenheit, you can say it's 32 degrees outside. Oh, that's cold. Oh, it's 15 degrees outside. That's really cold.

But it's never going to get to really minuses.

It's never going to be. It might be like four degrees.

which is minus in the Celsius world, but in the Fahrenheit world, we just know it's very, very cold.

Why are you going to have a scale which goes from zero to a hundred?

The top 7e you're never going to use. The 0-30 you're going to use. But then if it gets cold you have to go off the scale.

you

Does that make sense to you, Luke?

You're making good arguments. So can you agree that Fahrenheit makes more sense than it? When's the last time you took the temperature of anything ever?

It's true, only for the weather.

So I'm right.

So Fahrenheit's better than Celsius. Do we now agree?

I think I agree. Now, you have convinced me. I convinced you! Perrin hides the back! Woo!

right we're going to cheyenne nice yeah from divide to cheyenne

Yeah.
