Hello?
This is Real Talk with Bobby Dino. This is our inaugural episode.
and
No better person to be here.
but the man himself
Tristan Talisman Tate.
Tristan?
Glad to be here with you today, Roy. I'm so glad you're here.
We're doing an event.
There's the LA War Room Summit.
and
Tristan and his brother Andrew decided to pull a prank on everyone and surprise us with their presence which is
Very cool.
It's something that
just makes the event that much better having these guys around.
uh,
really, really cool guys to get to know.
as I did when I was out in Romania. I spent a week with them, lived with Tristan, essentially. We lived together, did everything together.
he's the man. Everything you see that's going on on the Instagram and the Twitter, that's really happening over at his place. So...
It was a learning experience.
Going to the country was just life changing for me.
And I'm glad to have the man that
help facilitate that.
with me now. Thank you and I'm actually very glad you came out because somebody like you has a lot of credibility. No matter who, no matter where people fall on the spectrum of Twitter,
you're a guy who says what he means and you demand a lot of respect online now for so for you to say
To all the haters out there and all the people who call me a liar or a fake or a fraudster
The cars are real, the house is real, the women are there.
You know, my lifestyle is what it is. And that means a lot to me.
because it just,
Silences a lot of these trolls. Yeah, and it's it's ridiculous because I mean you can believe in eyewitness or you can just
Go with the riffraff.
Yep, absolutely.
So this, this,
realm that you've kind of put yourself in your, your presence on, on the different platforms, whether Twitter, whether...
You have a great Instagram account as well.
It's all growing and you're really out there in the public eye.
How has this been for you?
on a mental level, like how, what is your,
methodology for dealing with.
Well...
Dealing with it has always been quite easy. Before I was getting big in the world, I'd experienced some fame in some very short bursts. Once in the United Kingdom when I was 23, I did a reality TV show.
So I was used to people looking at me, coming at me, maybe.
with their insults, et cetera.
And to be honest, in Romania, I'm quite famous. I'm probably the most famous non-Romanian person out there. I mean, you've had people...
come up to me and want to take photos of me. Real talk. Yeah, so I am quite famous over in my home country in Romania as well, so it's very easy for me to deal with the exposure that I'm now getting
But.
with what Andrew Tate, my brother, is doing with The War Room, the caliber of people I'm now mixing with
That's what's really mind-blowing.
It's not so much people recognizing me, people messaging me, people telling me
I'm an inspiration, I help them or they hate my guts and they hope I die. It's the caliber of people I now work with.
and deal with people like you, people like Mike Cernovich, Ivan Throne that have become not just
colleagues but real friends of mine. This is what's mind-blowing and this is what I find personally a little bit
hard to deal with. I find myself sometimes starstruck even though I'm the man running the event. Right. It's funny that you say that because I was just talking about that with my family earlier that it's still something to where
you'll hear people talking about you or let's say introducing you and they're
telling everyone in the audience all your accolades and everything. And you're listening to someone doing this about you and you're just like, it's you.
effect to it.
Now,
You went into a fighting career. - Yeah, I did.
Well...
Why your brother was already in it at first. He was already training.
You went in, you started training,
Is there a reason why
You did that?
I think some people
I don't think are necessarily wired to fight. Andrew is wired to fight.
Natural talent.
I was quite good. I was quite good at fighting. I won a European title at one point.
So I was no pushover.
But I've always respected
the physicality
Right. Of being a man and having that manhood about me.
And I would see
You know guys who are six foot five and they're really skinny and really weak, I think, wow, what a waste.
What a terrible waste of that frame that you had. You spent your whole life doing no training. You're not dangerous. Anyone who's 5'5" with a few hands could knock you out quite easily. It's the respect I have for the physicality of man.
Not just that, but growing up in a bad neighborhood
Me and my brother have always had this relationship where I've been a brother, a business partner, a friend, but also a bodyguard.
at all times. There have been a few times where I've had to utilize that. And it's just so
lucky that I put all these hours in when I was younger. It really is. And I tell young men all the time, get down to your local boxing gym, learn some Jiu Jitsu, do more pushups, even lift weights, get big. And I tell them all the time because
An example my father once gave me, it's very much like picking up stones.
It feels like a very useless activity out in the desert, picking up stones all day long. But you know, after 10 years when all the stones turn into diamonds, you'll wish you picked up more.
So I feel fantastic in myself, who I am when I'm walking around with people like you and Andrew.
It's just amazing to know that you can handle
So that's what they've got.
And anybody that's watching that maybe like isn't our size, you know, because you're 6'4" as well, right? Yeah, we're both 6'4", you know, we both
do our various training to different degrees.
It's possible to get there. Don't think that you
can't.
If you really want to change yourself up,
and you commit,
You can...
you can get size, just like you're saying. I remember when I first went in,
to
prison I was 195 pounds when I first went
And I was like, oh, this isn't going to do.
you know especially when you're seeing guys that can rest coffee cups on their
pec muscles, you know, you're going, Oh, no, no, no, I'm going to have to do something about this. So
It's possible. You can go from a smaller frame person to a larger frame person. I never took any steroids, never did anything like that.
Totally possible.
Now, when
when you're talking about
We have the war room.
The War Room is something that
that is used to motivate men, to make connections for men. It's to elevate them
to that continual next level to where they're growing.
When you're talking with men,
Is there any particular
ritual or
thing that you suggest that they do in order like a daily let's say a daily task or something that
there's a very basic example I'll give to young men but what I'll cover first I'll say
In the war room, this is not a...
My brother started the war room. I'm very much a member of the war room, just as you are a member. And this is not some strange cult of leader worship, because me and my brother are not narcissistic enough to think we are the archetypes that all men should want to be.
However, what we do is we take men and their individual situations, we look at how they're living their lives,
And as very happy people, very fulfilled people, both
physically, mentally, sexually, financially.
As very fulfilled people, we know that we can help people
in any realm that they want to better themselves in. And there are some people who have this stuff down better than me and some people who...
in the war room, but they're lacking in other things.
Sure. So this is what the War Room is all about. I have no ritual or anything that I actually recommend to men.
With younger men, especially the guys who aren't physical yet, and they don't have the size, and they don't have the money to go to the gym, and they don't have the time to do the training,
Obviously Andrew sells his fitness training program, which is all well and good, but a good example I always used when I was younger
was do push-ups during TV commercials. Push-ups during TV commercials was my life hack.
When I was young, I was broke. You know, I obviously I got to this this size. I'm no bodybuilder, but I'm a very big guy. I'm about 240 pounds.
Every time the TV
Watching TV is a very wasteful exercise. Absolutely. Every time the commercial comes on,
Do 50 push-ups. If you can't, do 25.
Do 10 every time the commercial comes on. Yeah, something. Yeah, by the time the day's over, you've done 150 push-ups.
You know, your arms feel pumped up, your pecs feel pumped up, and you've sat there and watched Star Trek or whatever it is. But it's now been a beneficial exercise. So that's the small life hack that I still do even now. If I ever find myself watching TV, I think, yes, it's such a waste of time.
with my girlfriend, she's got Netflix on, the episode's ended.
100 push-ups. Tristan, what are you doing?
But, you know, she doesn't argue with the end results. Right, exactly. Highly recommended. It's funny you say that because people have this idea that you need a gym membership and you need to have all the fancy equipment.
But even when I was in there, they had already taken weights out to where everything that we were doing was mainly calisthenic. And I had a bag.
of dirt
that maybe weighed about 60 pounds that we do either back or under various exercises with. So I mean, it wasn't any fancy equipment.
It was just your body weight.
like you're lifting stones I mean silly stuff you know that you think what's the use of this like you were talking about
And it's very much mindset as well My coach used to say Who isn't a big guy But probably the toughest person I've ever met in my life I'd never want to fight him It would take three of me to beat him up
He's about 5'7".
He once said,
What are you all complaining about? If you want, you can get into perfect shape in an empty room by yourself.
by yourself in an empty room. So all it takes is this, and you know that better than anyone because you essentially did that.
Far more than anyone else on the planet has. - No, so when I first went in, anybody that's read the story on my site called The Hole,
I had this guy that was, he was a couple decades older than me, was a double murderer.
And I was stuck with this guy in a cell for 23 hours a day for
about two months. So I mean, it doesn't sound like an
especially long amount of time,
But when you're living with someone in a small space for that long, 23 hours a day, like, you know, that person quick right away.
And he was a dude.
He had a lot of size or whatever, but constantly push-ups, elevated leg push-ups. He'd do back arms off the rack, you know, and all that stuff.
constantly working out.
in a room with no weights.
and he's still maintaining his size maintaining his frame, all that that's a real thing exactly
And the important aspect of it is, I mean, keep in mind, I haven't been training for the last month. I do have an injury on my shoulder. We could
We could go into that. That's a very long story. But it's all about just maintaining your general physicality. There are lots of people who...
become millionaires, I guess, like myself, who become financially successful. They party a lot, like I do. Sure. They like to enjoy a lot of expensive, fancy...
food in restaurants like I do. But if they lack that
mental
Fortitude to actually go out there and do the training end up looking like shit, right? And then it doesn't count for anything if girls, you know Don't want to don't want to have sex with you. What's the point in having a Lamborghini and all the money, right? So yeah, the maintaining your physicality is super super important. It's what got me into fighting and it's a big part of how I live now and who I am now and
and I think it always will be and I think all men...
should strive for a level of it at least.
Maybe you can help me expound on this.
I think that when you know...
you can handle yourself in any situation against any man. Now listen,
We can say yes, there's bigger and badder. - Of course there are. - Always. - Of course there are. Always.
You know you.
you know what you're capable of,
And you may not know the next guy. That doesn't mean you're underestimating him. It's just, you know what you can do. Right.
Having that knowledge and having that ability
with being able to be physical, with being able to literally conquer another person with your will.
physically.
How do you think that plays into the game mentally with all the business and everything that you do?
Um, it gives you a presence.
And it's something that...
I can see on other people. I mean, I've had
28, I think, professional contests, 28 professional fights against
fully trained in perfect shape dudes for training to knock my head off for the last 10 weeks. I've had a lot of professional fights.
you again have a lot of it had a lot of encounters yourself not pro fights I wouldn't want to do that you know Bobby I wouldn't want to do what you did either yeah yeah we're equal yeah there you go however uh you could see it on a person and you could feel it about a person and I'd like to think even the untrained or even the guys who
you know, couldn't throw a punch can feel it on you as well.
And it just gives you this...
aura of respect that commands respect around women, around other men.
and you just feel better. I'm walking through the park at night
a
A couple years ago, I was in Holland, I got lost.
and I found myself walking down the path in a forest with a girl.
in pitch blackness. It was a moonless night and there was no street lamps. I'm walking to the forest. She goes, "Aren't you scared?"
I said, "Why would I be scared?" She goes, "There might be someone in the woods who wants to attack us."
And I said,
If I'm, I said, I'm the predator.
If there's somebody in this forest right now
who could attack and physically hurt somebody else.
that's me right so you know we're gonna be okay
I'm not worried. And she liked that.
- Yeah, that's funny you say, I've had that same exact conversation with my wife. - There we go. - Say almost, you know, different words, but,
same exact to where we were out and there were some
homeless people that were on the curb
I could feel her wanting to stop as we were going. I'm just pulling her along. Hey, fellas, what's going on? You having a good night? Talking with them, you know.
And same thing, why aren't you scared? And I go, I'm the one that they should fucking be scared of. - Exactly. - And when you have that idea that you, it's not,
I don't advertise or recommend somebody underestimating their opponent. You never know who you're talking to. You can be talking to a retired hitman, you know, that's just having a bad day, that can kill you for the wrong thing you say.
Uh,
But...
knowing yourself.
and having that presence and knowing that you're the one that knocks.
It's life changing.
And you get there by...
by...
having that physicality to begin with by
getting yourself in a shape to where--
and with the knowledge as well and the skills. And you're gonna have people, of course, you're gonna see this on YouTube and think, oh, these guys don't look so tough. And you know, what about John Jones? And what about this guy who's a UFC fighter?
I'm not the toughest man in the world. I'm really not. But you know, pick an average man from the street
and tell him to come and
mess with me or my women or my friends or my brother and something bad is going to happen. Yeah, he's going to have problems. And I think every man should at least have the ability to be comfortable enough
in himself to think the same way.
I've had a dude
Sorry not to interrupt you. Because men like us who are the dangerous ones who can fight
I've got tremendous hands, legs,
I'm not the guy going around causing the problems. Right. You know, the professional UFC athletes, many of them who are my friends and former sparring partners,
they're not going around causing the altercations.
The people causing the altercations
aren't the ones that you need to be scared of. So if you know how to handle yourself,
you're going to find yourself staying out of trouble.
to the point where if a guy comes up and he really wants to fight you,
Yeah.
Probably not.
like you said, a retired hitman or a UFC champion who's wearing the wrong clothes that night.
It's not going to happen. Well, and plus...
Once you gain that knowledge, you become aware
not only of how you're
physicality is presented, but others, how others present theirs
and you get a read off of it.
Once you've been living life a little bit,
you can get a read.
when somebody's starting to get scared or you can get a read when they're up. I call them barking dogs, you know, when they're just talking crap and it's like,
Like you said,
You're not trying to start a problem.
You're not trying to do that.
Um,
But that, again, is life experience. You don't get that by sitting inside behind a computer all day. You don't. You don't get it by...
focusing on just one thing or reading books or talk about doing something. You get it by doing it.
I know we've been doing, I don't know how long we've been going up, but I know we've been on for a while and this wasn't supposed to be too long.
So I'll keep it brief.
Are there...
any misconceptions
let's say, or any, anything that maybe you've
you've read about you and your brother, or maybe you've seen, they've done a story on you guys or just anything like that.
to where
if you could clear it up, which you can right now, you just like to say, Hey, you know what, this is bullshit or this is how it is. You know,
but none of it bothers me. The only misconception that people will ever come at me with
And I don't find it personally offending. I just think it's bad for the world for this to be out there is when people say oh well you know
you have your money and you have your cars and you have your success, but you know,
I bet you're unhappy.
There's this misconception, because keep in mind, I don't come from money. I've been a millionaire for three years.
About five years ago is when I started making life-changing money.
Eight years ago, I was sleeping on my friend's couch and I drove a car that I couldn't afford
with gas for.
So this misconception that becoming a financially successful, well-rounded individual in your career and your work
makes you unhappy
When people come at me and say, you know, I bet you're unhappy.
It doesn't bother me, but I think that's a very bad message.
for the world out there. Right. Because people, what they'll do is they'll then list the things money can't buy. They'll say, well, I have my health...
and I have my brother and I have my dog and I have these things so I don't need all that money.
I'm like, "Well, yes, I'm doing very well financially."
I don't have a work schedule, you know, I'm making millions of dollars a year.
I also have my brother and my dog.
and my health and my family and my girlfriend. I have all those things
and millions of dollars.
The only misconception about me and my brother I'd like to clear up is when people think we're
unhappy, miserable people. You've been around me. I'm the happiest man
you could possibly meet. I'm loving my life. That was one thing that was really an eye-opener for me and really
us getting the chance to live together for a week.
Tristan graciously had me in his home.
and
You really get to know somebody when you're around them 24/7.
And
That's something that I could say for certain is, is you're,
Even though Andrew may
may portray a presence...
you know, on social media and may,
and may sometimes deliver his message with a firmness that is too firm for people. Right.
You guys were the most kindest,
generous
honest and honorable people around when I was there. I mean, I mean, seriously, they're, they're good to serving staff. They're good to the people around them. They're,
they're having fun and laughing, they're
They wouldn't let me...
They wouldn't let me spend my money. Like I came. He tried. I came. Well, I finally got to towards the end with Andrew once I changed it out. But I brought American money with me and they don't want your dollars in Romania. They want they want lay, which is their their money.
and
And I kept trying to spend it. He's like, no, they don't want your money.
They don't want you to run it. No, no, no. Just stop.
And it was to the point to where
you know, it was making me feel bad. Like, nah, man, I'm going to kick in.
Not to go on too much into that, but I guess what the point I'm trying to prove is
They were very generous, they were very kind, and the whole time it was fun.
Like there wasn't any drama. My life was wonderful.
Yeah, there's no, oh, you know, this or that, or I'm mad at this guy, or oh, we've got it.
None of that crowd.
So what I'll say about this channel, I'm excited that you've had me on as your first guest.
one of the reasons I wanted to meet you originally when you first came to my house. I'd never met you before. I'd exchanged just a few messages online. I picked you up personally.
You came into my house, it was just me and you there. We sat with the whiskey all night.
I was listening to your stories and what you had to say.
this channel
If you're not subscribed to it, I know it's brand new. I really highly recommend that you listen to what Bobby Dino has to say because
Every time I'm around him, I can sit there all night, I don't need sleep.
I don't need anything. My girlfriend's going to bed. Tristan, when are you coming up? I don't know. I'm sitting there drinking whiskey with you until the sun rises. Until the sun rises. You are one of the most interesting people I've ever met. And I think this channel is going to be...
very successful. I'm happy to come here and talk to you anytime. Thank you. And you know what, we'll break with that. But thank you for joining us for this, for this.
first real talk with Bobby Dino.
There's going to be many more to come.
And thank you, Tristan, so much for being on. I appreciate it. Thank you.
Y 'all
Y'all have a good one.
