Champions then, huh? All the champs are here. Good? All right. Long time. Good year. You don't come training. What can you do? I always say I'm not Merlin the magician. If you come regularly, it's easy. Champions. We'll try some new things. See how it works. Mess around. Never sparred a lot of these guys. So first time with some of them. We'll see how it goes. Feel a lot better. Feel a lot better. Starting to do really, really good. Amazing how a few weeks can reawaken things from years ago. It's incredible.
like Kate did or all of us did. For some people take maybe if they maintain a little bit something, a week, two weeks, a month, crop obviously high level like this. Now we are one month in. You should all see the difference from body composition, speed, power and all good things take time. Yeah we're never used to warm up. First round, start nice and easy.
He's hitting me with a train. I felt like a train hit me and pushed me. I just feel the power. Bro, he hits very hard, but the thing is that he hits sharp like a cobra, really. You feel like he's soft, but then...
There's nothing more disgusting to God than wasted time.
You can sit around and say, you know, we're on a jet, or I'm traveling, or I'm tired, but you can always do something. And it's not just about the physical aspect of it, it's the mental aspect of never wasting time. Every single spare second you have, you use efficiently. We've reached 37,000 feet on our way to Dubai. Master Amir was here, so I said, let's do some hugs, why not? I hope it's not too easy, I hope it's a war. I can't sleep at night because I'm so excited to finally get in there and fight.
No one likes him, no one likes it. Literally, non-stop, two times a day. You're with us all the time, you know how it goes. Hard, third time a day sometimes. At night, in the morning, anytime we can do something extra, we do it. He's looking sharp, like a Japanese blade. More sharp stuff, better, faster, harder. His power is ridiculous. Seek and destroy, don't stop.
The reality of Fight Camp is Andrew's already in top tier shape. He's already at the end of Fight Camp. He's now just got to sustain where he's at.
school of focus. Now me, I have a much more, I want to call it a white ball, but we do something called triphasic training. So the average fight camp is 12 weeks to make it easy. You have three phases the last four weeks each. Your first phase would be a power phase where you're trying to build strength, power, and that knockout. So you're a bit sluggish, you're a bit slow, you're normally a bit fast, and you do a little bit of running to get in shape. Then you move from the first phase
which is athleticism, so like a lot of jumping, a lot of movement, a lot of being able to convert power into speed. And then the last phase is a lot of mental and then a lot of speed. And it just goes home. Day one to day 500, doesn't matter what it is at the camp, go hard or go home. It's working.
Powering shots, lots of combinations, your style, everything you want to do. Let's go.
- Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. - I'll do 70% of the work, but you do, I'll still be in shape. - Fucking hell. - That's bad work, though. - Yeah. - Otherwise you just fucking dance. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Bad work sounds easy.
and sometimes can look kind of easy as well, and it is if you just do it on your own.
But you wouldn't have some big cunt like me shouting at you, telling you what to do, pushing you, making you work.
It's brutal.
12 rounds of bag.
He's already in shape, so Amir turned up at the end.
And I'm surprised there was no surprises for him, you know what I mean? But no, it was a good day. When you go, you go, right? Start training, you train hard, train super hard. Towards the end, you relax a little bit so you don't ache. Then you go and knock someone out. That's how I approach you. I don't really think at this point in the camp, I'll do this, do that, da-da. I just gotta do as I'm told by the people around me. If they say punch hard, I punch hard. I have a very simple mindset. Empty brain. Empty mind.
